Surprise!
... it's a pig, a cake, and a house-full of your friends and family! Our daughter planned a surprise Pig Pickin' birthday party for her husband, we hosted the festivities at our home on Saturday. He learned a little bit ahead of time what was going on, our daughter gift wrapped an invitation for him so that he'd know about, and could fully participate in, the entire day's activities; and a full day it was! Scroll down and enjoy photos of all the merriment, from the early-morning set up to the last happy hurrah!

Looks like a good time was had by all *s*
Boy, it looks like your daughter suffers from the same problem you do: never plans ahead for major events...
it's just terrible.
P.S. My first thought when I saw the first photo was, "Wow! Kyle is walking without a leg brace, and he shaved his head!" Then I thought, "It's not Kyle's birthday...." Then finally: Oh, small photo... that aint Kyle.
Happy Birthday Cuz-In-Law!
That looks like fun! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I tried to reply but your email is set to 'no-reply'. I am currently reading to refresh techniques for the "Poetry In Motion" Challenge.
Looks like a great party! Love those little potted plants with the big '30' - are they shamrocks? Can't tell. The sun appears to be shining so hopefully there was no rain all day. Really a nice group of photos - thanks for sharing.
:D

Glad you had sunshine, even though it was so cold. Husband and I didn't even try to walk, too cold for me, or should I say too windy and cold. BRRRRRR.

How did you like the Guild meeting on Monday Night? Little out of line, don't you think? Oh, well. You just have to learn to overlook some people.

I so miss barbacue! I like the Vinager and black pepper...nothing like that here. Wonder if I could find a way of doing that for our 4th of July party!

Looks like you did a great job setting up, having a great time and cleaning up. Are you in one of the pictures?
