We're rocketing our way through this season of Advent. The third candle is lit, the garland has been hung, the mantle is decorated and there's been a drawing here at The Strawberry Patch! Thanks to every one of my dear blogger friends who dropped by to commemorate my 300th post. With the help of my able-bodied assistant, Hannes, who drew out the winning ticket and almost ate it(!); the winner is, none other than... ANCESTOR COLLECTOR; check out her blog! My friend since we were twelve years old, it seems particularly fitting that she should be the winner of a contest that celebrates longevity! Congratulations!! A special gift is on it's way to you, A.C., be on the lookout.

What did you put on AC's paper that made Hannes want to eat it??? :)
Hope there was a special treat for Hannes . . . he did a great job.
It is nice when the winner is someone you know.
Oooooh, I'm so excited!!! Longevity is a wonderful thing. I dare say I may be the only one who comments on your blog that remembers when you didn't quilt, heck, when you couldn't even sew!! Mrs. Terrill would be so proud of you. ;-)
I think I need to go make a post on my blog...it's been a while...again.
Thanks so much, Mrs. G! I will be looking forward to that special gift. And please thank Hannas for me too...he'll get a special tummy rub from me when I see him.
Hugs!
Oh wait, Mrs. Terrill taught cooking! It's Mrs. Kaizer who would be so proud! It's been so long....memory fades. ;-) I guess I liked the food more than the sewing machines back then....well, maybe I still do.
Congratulations to AC. What a good job Hannes did. ;) So cute he is.
