Yet another question... and another answer, too! It's time to celebrate Valentine's Day! You're shaking your head. You think the LAST thing I need to be worrying about is the time, you're thinking that I don't know the DATE! No, I do. My Valentine and I celebrated at breakfast today. He didn't arrive home until 2 AM. (Suffice it to say that air travel isn't what it used to be. Retirement can't come soon enough!) He gave me this precious Swatch watch.
I collect them. I have special occasion Swatches and regular ones, I love them all. Isn't this one sweet with the little cut-outs on the band and the embossed flowers on the face? My Valentine gave it to me in a teeny-tiny gift bag with a little-bitty heart tin enclosed, too. Little-bitty, but big enough... for exactly one piece of chocolate candy! Awwww. Isn't that just the cutest thing? The gift of time is a wonderful thing, especially when it can be spent sewing; unfortunately that won't be happening today! I'm cleaning the house today (it's Friday, I can be such a schedule-freak sometimes, ask my friends and family!), shopping, and making a Lobster Pie for my Valentine for dinner. Thanks, honey; you're the BEST!

How sweet! It is great that you were able to spend time with your Valentine and that he remembered and got you such treasured gifts.
Sounds like a sweet celebration. I am off to do some cleaning today too - I have a long weekend and I feel like nesting.
Why does it not surprise me that you are a schedule-freak?!?!? Somehow I knew that, even without you saying so (not that I am or anything...)

Happy Valentines Day, yes I know I am a day late, but also wanted you to know I (obviously) got your addy. I Thank you so very much. I was not having any fun in this motel room not being able to keep up with my little "WORLD". WG and I done our first event on Wednesday and all went well, will be here through Monday, then on to Texas. So far everything is pretty good, no complaints.
I absolutely love the quilt blocks for your son and his wife, what a great idea!

We learned long ago to celebrate when we can - not when the calendar tells us too *s* Glad you got some Valentine time with your fella.
I love Swatch watches too and used to collect them (about 20 years ago) then I stopped wearing watches and haven't collected another one since....seeing yours has made me wonder if I should start again!
