... the Zoo Train! I thought we were down to the last call. I've been stitching more (and more!) motifs for Mason's wall-hanging this week and decided we definitely needed yet even more. We couldn't possibly leave the station without the Zebra or the Tiger or the Flamingo, now could we? I had planned a square quilt to hang over the changing table, 3 blocks by 3. But... it could just as easily have sixteen blocks instead of nine; right? I suddenly realized that I couldn't leave some of the most important zoo animals standing and waiting on the platform. Naturally, I had to include the Kangaroos and the Elephant; oh yeah, and the Alligator (don't want him to get testy, after all)! The more I stitch out the better I like these guys. And so it goes, the wall-hanging grows! Stay tuned. And what about this guy (below)? No... he's not boarding the Zoo Train, he most definitely has no ticket. He was standing and waiting on the back lawn a few days ago when we pulled our car in the driveway...
Awww...

Lovin' it. Just lovin' it.
So Cute! All the little train cars can chug right over here!
What kind of embroidery machine do you have?
Ah, that is just so cute. What a darling quilt for a little boy.
All the motifs are so cute. I like the turtle. I am amazed that you got a picture of that deer.
My goodness....I had to catch up on all your posts...I LOVED everyone of them! I especially love the picture of Mason...lol..I love that book and the little face looking up at gramps. I also loved the story about your friends little girl. She looks like a very sweet girl.
The hangers are something I'm going to look into. I need to iron more and use better things for our clothes. Todd REALLY wants that..lol. I also LOVE the ideas and products you find...good choice! Talk to you soon...have a great week!
The train is just too cute! I love the turtle in the caboose!
Your sweet baby deer is growing up...soon all those spots will be gone. They are so beautiful, aren't they?
Oh I'm very confused. I was here this morning and I thought I left a comment. Dear me. Well, I was going to say your work is lovely and the little train is just too cute.
