Schedule?

I am schedule-driven, I admit that. Friday is cleaning day, no exceptions; but I can learn to be more flexible... particularly where my grandson is concerned! I spent the better part of this past week at Mason's house, helping out. On Thursday, my daughter and I loaded up the baby and she brought me back home; I kept Mason for a while yesterday, as she had an appointment here. Yep, it's true, Mason can absolutely interrupt cleaning day at Chez Goodneedle, any ol' time he wants! I am reminded of this cross-stitch sampler that I stitched for my son's nursery twenty-eight years ago. (I have no idea what happened to the actual framed sampler, but I did locate the chart.) Definitely words to live by... "babies don't keep"... ain't that the truth! And now, today, I'm off to annihilate a few dust bunnies; it hardly seems fair, they won't be expecting an attack on a Saturday.

Life is Good!

You're right. They won't be expecting you. Those ol' dust bunnies (if yours are bunnies mine are buffalo!) will think they had it made since you didn't come after them yesterday. Don't clean too hard!!!

He is just so precious!

Your dust bunnies will be so surprised. I don't have a "regular" cleaning day. I clean on the day of the week that is the least booked up. That way, my bunnies have to always be on their guard! They never know when I'm coming. ;-)

Sounds to me like you have your priorities in order. I'll let you in on my secret. If you name the dust bunnies, they become pets, and you can let them stay at your house!

I remember that poem from somewhere! Unfortunately I let the dust bunnies live at my house and I don't even have a baby around to keep them company.

That is the sweetest picture of Mason!

Oh! Look at his blessed angelic face, so calm in sleep. He is beautiful.
Yes they are gone to adulthood before we realise.

He is just the sweetest and cuddliest baby, you do need to enjoy him now, they grow up so fast! The dust bunnies will wait, but the baby will be doing new things everyday ~~ ENJOY EACH DAY!!

I think all of your dust bunnies came to my house. They were lonely and heard about the convention... ;-)

Mason is a cutie pie! I know you hated to see them go back. Can't wait to see more pictures!

Oh you are funny! Dust bunnies in this house NEVER expect me. And I don't disappoint. How does it feel to have that sweet baby all to yourself?

Oh this photo of Mason - so sweet.

You made me laugh at the thought of the dust bunnies. I just hope Hannes isn't offended by this change in plans.

Nope, babies DON'T keep, do they? Lucky you to spend time with Mr. Mason. Poor bunnies of dust, they probably didn't even know what hit them! LOL!!
