Life is Good!

This Is The Day!
The baton is passed, so to speak. It's been a long year, and an eventful one. Tonight is the final church council meeting that I will preside over, at the conclusion of the meeting we will elect new officers for next year and I will be done. I will get in my car and drive home with a proud sense of accomplishment and a heightened awareness of liberating freedom, too; I am really looking forward to that! I have big plans for 2009, and meetings are not among the items on my list! Unfinished quilts are beckoning...

Congratulations on making it through this busy year. I can already hear your sigh of relief!
Sundance...get your motor running!!
I am clapping for you!!
Congrats on a successful year. You were called to do something you weren't sure you wanted to do, but you stepped up to the plate and got the job done! You were the person God needed in that role this year.
I will be stepping down from Council at the end of January because my dear Hubby will be the next president. Better him than me! ;-) Although I'm a bit sad about giving up my seat, I know it's more important for him to lead the congregation than for me to continue for my last year. And of course, there are many more tasks and committees that can use my help. That will be your next struggle....trying not to say "yes" to everything that people will think you have time for now.
Happy quilting!
Hugs!
A significant contribution you made as I recall when this initially came up. A sacrifice on your part. I seem to recall all that. I could be wrong but I believe you deserve a bracelet for endurance.
Sticking to It with love, *karendianne.
Clapping & stomping & shaking & praying for you ... Many blessings to you for the heart and prayer you have put into your efforts this year. Sundance and Hannes will be glad to have you back in the studio more often!
That's great! I still have about 6 months to go and I will be able to say the same. Sundance better be all turned up and ready to roll!!
Good for you!!!!Its always good to do your part, but what a relief when you can sit back and let someone else have that blessing.
Ever wonder how you could be happy and not know it? I guess that comes about when we take happiness for granted, until some trial comes our way. But I will sing along....and clap my hands, stomp my feet and shout AMEN!
You made it and we're happy and we know it. Amen.
GOOD GIRL!! "you have done what you could!" :cD
Bonnie
