Attic Update
You might remember a previous post where I described our plans for turning my own personal walk-in 'fridge into a home theater; there's continuing progress on this project. The photo here is clickable and you'll notice behind the stud-wall (future screen) in the foreground the labels for what goes where. This is going to be a fun room to retreat to after a long day of sewing and quilting, I'll need to find another place to go for my own cooling off place, I would have had to anyway... it's getting warmer up there now with the advent of Spring! I look forward to hosting my Bee friends here for movie night before too long. What will the premiere showing be? The Secret Life of Bees, what else?!

How exciting! One of my friends has a theater room in their upper reaches too and it's fabulous. They decorated with a theater theme and it's just too cute. Wishing I was in YOUR sewing group, he he...
This room is going to be great! I love found spaces :)
One thing about having cathedral ceilings: there is no attic. That is a wonderful use of your space.
Oh, I can't wait for our next movie night!
I'm looking forward to decorating ~ are you kidding! I can't wait for that. Have you started already. Oh I can hardly contain myself. LeeHaven doesn't go for decor but the Mistress loves to live vicariously thru others.
This is going to be a really neat place! Looks like it is progressing well. I can't wait to see the finished product. The Secret Life of Bees is a great choice. My book club recently had a movie night and we really enjoyed this movie. Nothing like a night with the girls! Have a great weekend!
Looks like that's going to be a fun project! Keep us all updated! Just don't let it become a "man cave"!
It certainly is good, and looks like it will be great when you have it finished and are eating a delicious snack and watching "the secret life of bees!" enjoy!
What a wonderful new space you are creating. We'll enjoy watching the progress.
Our church Book Club read the Secret Life of Bees and everyone loved it. Then we had a movie night. Everyone was concerned that the movie wouldn't follow the book very well but we were pleasantly surprised.
Oh how exciting- sounds like lots of fun! You'll have to keep us updated!
I'll bring the popcorn!
:-)
What fun that room will be. It will great to see the progress.
So tidy! I wish I could keep my work space so clean. Its going to be a great room..just think how Thomas the Train or Bob the Builder will look on the big screen!
What fun - you all will enjoy that room very much.
That is awesome! I know you will get plenty of relaxing hours in once it is complete. I bet Mason will get some movie time there too!
My mind is working overtime trying to picture what that wonderful space will look like when finished. Truly wonderful!
