The first, Dove deodorant. I happened upon this product while looking for something else, I didn't expect to like this as much as I do; maybe that's part of the charm. It is easy to find, inexpensive, and I just love the way the container feels in my hand! The product goes on smoothly, comfortably and cleanly (no white residue), it smells great and I really like the way the bottom of the container swivels and clicks to advance the product in the tube. I chose the grapefruit and lemongrass fragrance but there are others, as well as an unscented variety, to choose from.
This product is a little harder to find, at least it has been for me. Neutrogena Cracked Heel treatment. I swear by this stuff. My feet have never looked better. I enjoy wearing sandals and flip flops in warm weather and now I don't need to worry about my feet being presentable, they always are. I rub this into my soles and heels every morning after showering and it really, truly works to heal and moisturize even the driest and roughest feet. I do use it year round, every day. It has a light cocoa butter scent. A tube runs around 4$, and will last approximately six weeks. Search for this, when you find it, grab it. You won't be sorry. I promise.
I have used this hair product for the last ten years. It's L'anza Hair Repair Leave-in Protector. I have very fine hair and this will not weigh hair down at all. I shampoo and do not use any additional conditioner, I squeeze a small amount (dime size) of this product into my hands and rub it into my towel-dried hair. I comb it through and then dry my hair as usual. It leaves my hair smooth, shiny and clean feeling; never heavy. My hair is short, I don't use much; a tube of this will last me about six months and you will find it where salon products are sold for about $10, worth every penny!
And last, but not least, is our new AT&T Phone and Answering Machine. We found this phone system at Costco, it is expandable with handsets for all over your house. They are slim and lightweight, but not too light. They feel balanced in the hand, there's no antenna on the cordless handset and they slip easily into my pocket when I'm running around the house or using Sundance, a huge convenience! The best part is on the answering machine, there's an option for choosing an audible beep for alert to messages that have come in! Hooray! Our last answering machine had done away with that feature and I had to rely on a blinking light, which I missed more often than not. Beep at me, please!!
So there you go, my top picks for Summer 2009. It's those little things that make life better, products that work, something definitely worth passing along!
Life is Good!

I am wondering if Nancy, Outside of Philadelphia would like to recommend her new lip gloss... :)
What great things to share. I also like Dove. I'm going to look into that nicely priced Neutrogena Cracked Heel treatment. The phone is a huge deal at LeeHaven. I've had the worse luck with phones although this latest dual set has lasted for more than a year so I should settle down. I'll keep this in mind though because trust me, we have issues with Phones at LeeHaven. It's always been this way. I don't know why!!!
... but I'm wondering Mrs. G. ~ wondering if we should try that new Lip Gloss Nancy is trying out?
Thanks! I use Dove too and love it! Have a great holiday!
OH! Thanks for sharing these products. I will definitely look for the foot cream.
Seems like I'm always in sandals or barefoot - a good cream is always in order. Thanks for the tip *s*
Debbie,
I am not sure how many of the products I would find here in Canada but I will be on the look out for the hair repair. I also have very fine hair (baby fine) that needs all the help it can get.
For sure I could find Dove products- I love the bath wash- it makes my skin feel great. My mom has used dove soap forever..
As for phones- I am not sure how many phones we could have in our house and still have trouble trying to locate them or keeping them charged- the joy of portablity is also a challenge.
Have a great weekend..
Anna
I use that Dove. It's awesome.
I have not used any of these products, but I will look for them now. Thanks for passing on the information.
I bought the grapefruit dove deo last go round and thought I loved it. However, I started noticing that it was leaving a residue on my clothes. It wasn't a stain necessarily (except on one linen top) but the fragrance wasn't washing out. Just thought I'd give a heads up.
I, too will try the 3 products you have recommended, they all sound like good choices. I have a LOT of hair but it is very fine, so the conditioned will definitely get a try.
We purchased new phones about a month ago and got the same ones you have recommended, we too like ours very much!
I don't have a photo, but have you tried the Downey Wrinkle Releaser, that too does what it says, I really like it. I read about it in some magazine ( sorry, don't know which one). I think any of you reading this would like it, especially for pressing washed fabrics. It's great.
