I stitched monograms on a few items last week. (The purses are for identical twins who just so happen to have the same initials!) The Market Basket is my daughter's, isn't it just the cutest thing? It's completely collapsible, the frame comes off (which made the embroidery easy-peasy on this item*) and reattaches with the little velcro tabs, I am going to search for some of these, they would make fantastic Christmas gifts. They are super lightweight, I can literally think of hundreds of uses for a great basket like this; (beyond the market) can't you?Life is Good!
* this was certainly not the case when it came to hooping in, under, around & through those huge rattan handles on the purses! Arrggh!!

I have one of those same light weight collapsable folding market baskets!!! I picked mine up last year at "Cow Days Festival" when we were home in KY. I think it was less than $10! A steal of a deal. I use it everyday in my mini van to carry things to be mailed, to gather up shoes, toys and other items to go into the house - even on library trips. Love it!
I hope you find a place to purchase them - and personalizing them will make a very nice touch for gift giving. Mine is just plain royal blue. ;)

Nice to see you really using the embroidery machine...I wonder sometimes if I would or not. I agree the basket would make a great gift!
I have one of these baskets. It is in my embroidery to do pile. I am using it this weekend....without the embroidery. You are right they are great baskets!

I received a collapsible monogrammed one recently--Duke blue & rectangular. It stays ready to go with me in the car! So, you have "winner" for potential gifts-whenever! Our beautiful crisp NC fall weather is invigorating for creativity!
