I've been putting up vegetables and quilting the canning jars too... no, not the glass variety; that would be tough on the machine needle. I'm quilting fabric canning jars... yep, it's canning time at Chez Goodneedle and I haven't messed up the kitchen at all. Sundance and I are having sew much fun!
So, how do they quilt those glass jars after all?
Very slowly, I would guess, and with the use of eye protection! ;)

Now THAT's my kind of canning! :-D (Other than when we'd pick blackberries as a child, and seeing my stained mouth my mother would ask, "Canned them already, have you!?" :-D) What swirly concoction lies in those fabric jars? It's going to be a lovely pantry! :-D
Blessings,
Mary Lou
I've got that pattern and even many of the vegetable fabrics but haven't made it yet. You make me want to drag it all out and start on it! blessings, marlene
Love those swirls ...
Probably cheaper than glass jars. Has anyone priced them lately?
Rather can your way.
Beautiful quilting!
Since the ground hogs ate my garden this year...this may be the only canned goods I see
I love the quilting you're doing on your background. Can't wait to see it all!
