Going, Going, Gone!

It's been fading, my voice; from raspy to croaky and fading, to gone... completely. It's my annual seasonal affliction. My husband will have a quiet day. I have been forced to writing-only; hastily scribbled messages are my only form of communication. He is being sweet, drawing me little smiley faces in response. It gives me a whole new appreciation for health and the gift of voice. One benefit gained through my vocal exile, I am hearing better; well, certainly my sense of hearing hasn't improved, but my listening has. Imagine that. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). There is spirituality in silence. I am still, I am thankful and I am sipping hot tea.

Life is Good!

Silence is golden, they say, but Sheesh! is it hard! LOL Rest well, Mrs. G...and make a list of all the things you can't say now but would like to! :-)
Blessings!

Hope you find your voice soon! I've had laryngitis at Christmas before. Not fun.

Take care of yourself and you'll be singing Christmas carols soon!

Nothing to fool with . . . our receptionist has been off work 2 weeks with a horrible case of laryngitis - she can now croak out about 10 words before her voice vanishes again. Two others in the office are barely whispering, and several others (including me) are headed down the early part of that path.

Take care!!!
