Happiness Is...

... hearts full of love and laps full of grandbabies! After a week-long delay we finally have celebrated Christmas in the Capital city with the rest of the family. The snow of last week has been effectively consumed by recent warmer, rainy days. Our children, their spouses and all three grandchildren gathered yesterday for a few hours of fun, food and gift exchanging. After unwrapping a virtual avalanche of toys Mason was enchanted by... what else, a BOX! All children are the same. This gathering, while filled with frenzied fun provided by an active toddler, will only get louder and more hectic in the years to come! I, for one, can't wait! (l-r: Mason 2.5 yrs, Gregory 2 mos., Lucy Ann 3 mos.)

Love it. Three days before Christmas we got our new refrigerator and took the box up to Sam and Caroline (now nearly 3 and nearly 5). They did not need another thing for Christmas!

Your face is just radiating happiness. The little ones are too cute. Of course he liked the box best. Next year he will probably be taking the toys apart and putting them back together.

Oh, Life really is good for you and your family. Such a sweet photo.
Yes, you can do so much with boxes. My boys made a submarine out of a refrigerator box when they were little. It was great fun.
