Two Of The Men In My Life

What a weekend! While Lucy Ann and Nana had fun doing other things these last few days, PawPaw and Mason made fun on their own... tractor rides, a trip to the fire station and eating popsicles in their makeshift "tent" (under the quilt-draped dining room table) were just a few of the many activities that made happy, lasting memories for two of the (undoubtedly sleepy tonight) men in my life! If only we could slow down time*.

I love you both~
Life is Good!

*40 years ago today Mr. Goodneedle and I graduated from high school together.
No, wait... that can't be right. Not 40 years!
It was only 1971. Oh.
Wow!

What fun pictures. If it was 40 years ago for you, that means 1976 was 35 years ago for moi. Holy Cow! That can't possibly be true....

I'm sure Mr Goodneedle was tired by the end of his time with Mason. The pictures of the two them are so cute.

Time does tend to play tricks on us. I bought my brother a birthday card, and knowing that it was a big round number day, it said "Happy 40th. I brought it home, and my daughter asked me, why 40? He is turning 50. Oops. I know we are in our forties, but somehow, that next round number seemed like it was too big.
