What's Missing?

What's missing from this picture? Yes, you probably noticed... the little arm bands to finish off the sleeves. That, and an almost one-year-old little girl inside! Wait; how did that happen? I'm blaming it on time bandits, there's no other explanation. After all, Lucy Ann was born the day before yesterday, wasn't she?

Life is Good!

No, we must have confused the dates. Our little peanut can't be almost ONE!

One already? They grow up way too fast!

Love the bishop dress for Lucy Ann! Will her new nickname be Cupcake?

When I sewed bishops (and it's been a few years...), I used the scalloped edging stitch on my Bernina instead of putting on the sleeve bands. It added a fun touch, but you have to do it before it goes through the pleater.

Oh my and look at the gorgeous smocking! How beautiful is that? I cannot believe she is a year old already. Gosh, I can't even believe Mason is 3. It really truly does feel like moments ago when you announced you were to have the blessed honor of being a grandmother. Oh Debbie, we're starting to rack up some years together my friend. I thought we shared a lot before but now its so bittersweet and too simple the way we can count the years. Love to you my talented friend. *karendianne.

Just so sweet! Oh, gosh....this just reaffirms my desire to find a class somewhere around here!! Or perhaps I'll just have to come to you for smocking boot camp! ;-) Lucy Ann is going to look adorable in this dress! (Well, she's always adorable...she'll just be more so!).

Love it! Can't wait to see a picture of the "little Cupcake"" in the dress. Are you going to be able to handle it if cake gets smeared all over it?

A-dorable birthday dress! Can't wait to see her in it. The cupcakes are so so cute.

How cute is that dress....yes, the time bandits, it's their fault. I can't believe she's going to be one.

This little brown dress is so adorable! And the cupcake and candle smocking! You are too clever! Honestly, I don't know how babies grow so quickly, but she will sure look spiffy for her birthday!
