Camden, ME

In response to yesterday's post, some of you guessed correctly where the Goodneedles have been; yes, Nova Scotia! But, there were other stops before we got there. We drove to Camden, ME to meet up with my Mom and Dad for a couple of days before we headed north and east to cover the Atlantic Maritimes. We stayed at a quaint B&B there together along the picturesque rocky coastline. (Mr. Goodneedle is but a distant speck in this shot!)
The rocks underfoot are approximately the size of softballs; strolling here was NOT easy!

A pretty pinwheel quilt hung in the lobby, what a warm and welcoming invitation!

The breakfast room included a spectacular ocean view, an amazing way to start the day!

Camden Harbor; notice the boat-wrapping underway in the foreground.

Bidding Mom and Dad (aren't they cute?) good-bye before we were off
to New Brunswick and the beginning of our Canadian adventure.

(This was also where the windswept hair-do began, it was a continuing event!)

Life is Good!

Your folks live in Camden? How lucky! Were you raised in Maine? I'm heading there (not Camden, tho') very soon - too soon! Time sure flies!! Glad you had a nice trip. Your folks are adorable.

Your Mom and Dad look great!!! Seems like they never change. :-) So nice that you had time to visit with them, and Camden is such a beautiful spot. Love the view from the breakfast room at the B&B! Looking forward to the rest of your travel-blog. :-)

My mother's grandparents and other elders came from Maine ... following the lumber trade to northern Michigan. I've not been to Maine (yet) but it is on my bucket list.

Happy for you that you've enjoyed this trip!!

Beautiful brilliant sunshine on the water and blue blue sky--what a great room to begin the day in! Glad you had a catch up with your folks and plenty of outdoor hair adventures.

Your pictures are just stunning! So glad your trip was a good one -- my parents took a cruise (?) to Nova Scotia years ago & had very fond memories. That B&B looks wonderful.

I thought that would be a fun place to cycle someday...but not if its always windy. I have never been north of NY on the East Coast so looking forwarding to seeing more pics. Glad you are home safe.
