A Taste Of Halifax...

We toured the Public Gardens when visiting Halifax; a rare, surviving Victorian garden:

We glimpsed the harbour from the high point of the city, The Citadel:

A port city, Halifax Harbour was home to many interesting vessels, large and small:

The Harbour "Hopper" can be boarded on land and ridden across the water:
And now, for the "taste" of the city! Lobster pie...
Life is Good!

My mother in law was born and raised in Halifax ( They are referred to as Haligonians- people who live in Halifax.
Our son currently lives a few hours from Halifax in PEI. It is a long way to north central Alberta from there! Halifax is a very pretty city.
Thanks for sharing the lovely garden.
Regards,
Anna
