Activity Filled Weekend...

I'm spending some time sewing tonight... it's been an activity filled weekend. First, there was all the home construction:

Followed by the stair-climbing Olympics:

His gold medal was secure; but, to prove the point, Gregory "won" again, over, and over, and over...

A close second to stair climbing is banister-peeking. It ranks right up there and is another world-class event.
The house is quiet tonight, too quiet... no more little feet on the steps, no more giggles and hugs. Needle and thread therapy helps (oh, how I miss these little faces all in the same place at the same time).

Life is Good!

What fun! Somebody looks awful happy about the home construction. I love the determined looks on the faces of stair climbing event participants....

Oh my goodness, I am just grinning at those pictures on the stairs, especially the climbing one. That should get a prize!

They are all ADORABLE! Looks like they were having a great time. :) I love the clock in your previous post, and the Advent wallhanging in the one before that... LOL You know, I have this automatic update thingy but it did not let me know you had new posts up. I must go see if I change anything. :/ Happy Holidays, Mrs. G.

LOVE these photos! Such little cuties! It's hard when the house gets so quiet after a fun-filled weekend. I'm looking forward to Christmas and New Year when our house will be bustling and bursting at the seams! No seam ripper required. ;-)

Priceless moments. Love them while they let you. We have similar events at our home every Sunday evening.

My daughters are the only children in our two families - neither my sister, brother, nor my husband's sister and brother had children. Luckily, we have good friends who had boys the same age and they really became their substitute cousins. However, I look at these photos and feel so happy that your grandchildren will grow up having such good fun together within the family, xx

I can so relate ... I had my grands here for 3 days last week, and the weekend was way, way too quiet. And the needle and thread therapy helped, but I would have gladly given up stitching to have some more time with the littles. ;-)

With all that going on, I'm surprised you can still lift a needle! That's a lot of joy in on spot!
