Warm Wishes...

I have the gifts all lined up and ready to go, cookies and Irish linen towels for friends and neighbors.

... BUT, could this be right? 64 degrees?
Is it really mid-December?
I took this picture while stopped in one of the gazillion
traffic jams I encountered yesterday. 'Tis the season for shoppers and traffic!
Despite the weird weather, and temperatures that defy the calendar, this is what I found
waiting for me at Quilt Ministry yesterday morning when I arrived at church:

The Christmas spirit is alive and well... and yes, it really is December!
Life is Good!

So, so organized and on top of things, but then I have come to expect nothing less!
I'd share our weather with you--sometimes we get above freezing!

What lovely and perfect gifts! And we had a day last week when it was warmer in Fairbanks, Alaska than here in Salem, Oregon!

One day in the 60s, next day in the 40s, one with sun then a couple with wind and rain ... I agree that it is strange (and confusing when getting dressed in the morning)

Lovely gifts! And lovely group to greet you after that traffic :) Holiday Spirits lifting the temps, maybe?

We are in the midst of unseasonably dry and warm weather as well, and I'm getting worried. Our city threatens water rationing if the annual rainfall is too low. Plus, it's hard to get into the Christmas spirit when you aren't bundled up!
