I smocked many years ago; the beauty of this dress reminds me of my (now adult aged) nieces who wore those dresses. Smocking is such a restful and relaxing handcraft. Might just have to pull out my supplies and patterns again ... grandnieces will be coming someday! LOL
Grand is an understatement! Love all the little details like the band fabric and the piping. Can't wait to see pictures of the little princess in her Easter frock.
