I thought when I retired that I would sleep in ~ a luxury when I was working. I've found now (after being retired for awhile) that I really LIKE early mornings ... the quiet, the solitude, the peace, anticipation of the new day. It is so beautiful ....
Interesting what 45th Parallel Quilter shared - I think the "sleeping in" concept is mentally appealing but, truth be told, I love early mornings best (when I'm NOT exhausted from a week at my day job).

I agree, the early mornings are certainly the best.
Oh, that's perfect!! Early mornings are MY favorite time of day, too!

Groan....says the nite owl.......
I like to wake early but am quite happy to spend some extra time in bed reading with a cup of tea:)
Early riser here, too!
I find it harder and harder to sleep past seven but still think I more of a night owl for sure.
