Home Free

I don't know if any of you watched The Sing Off  last month on NBC. Mr. Goodneedle and I loved the A Cappella competition and I fell in love with the amazing vocals of this quintet from Minnesota, Home Free. They did end up winning the competition (YAY!) and a recording contract. Their debut album is being released on Monday but until then you can listen here to the new album, all the songs in their entirety, before you purchase; a rare treat! I will be listening through my laptop all day long while I sew... I can't get enough of their beautiful, smooth-as-silk Country sound, and those oh-so-tight harmonies. Have a listen, judge for yourself! Pay special attention to that last note in Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire"... I'm still in awe. Go ahead, do it...your ears will thank you!

Hello again! I have been keeping up with your blog but just not commenting or posting on my own blog. I really should get back to it but my life with my ankle has kept me from doing a lot of things!

Jim and I just love The Voice. The last group that won a couple years ago were wonderful as well. It so nice that Home Free won. They were amazing. So - thanks for the link! I am back on bed with a cast on again so at least now I can listen to them again!!
