If you're stumped by what to quilt look no further than your collection of accumulated stencils; you know you have them by the drawerful! I went through all of mine over the weekend and found exactly the right motif (in stencil form) to translate into quilting stitches on "Coming Up For Air".
Use a marking tool that you trust to come clean and have at it!

You are such an awesome quilter!! The leaves add such life and texture to you pretty quilt. I try to use what I have...if I don't have it, maybe I don't need it!!
The leaves were a great choice. They look like just the right touch for this quilt. (I think I might even have that stencil.) You and Snowbird seem to have developed a great working relationship!
I need to remember this....somewhere around here is a box of stencils......
Stencils are one thing I have little of since I do not tend to mark my quilts, but you have a yummy selection there. Glad your stock provided!
