I have
a lot to report, Mr. Goodneedle and I have only just returned from an
epic road trip; I'll post details and photos in the coming days. Webster's defines the word "epic" as something extending beyond the usual or ordinary size or scope, this trip certainly qualifies: we returned home last evening after being gone for 23 days and travelling 9,221.7 miles through 22 states! (NC, VA, TN, AR, OK, TX, NM, AZ, UT, NV, CA, OR, WA, ID, MT, ND, MN, WI, IL, IN, OH and KY)
In honor of National Dog Day today I am closing with a shot of our faithful traveling companion. Tonight we are all in agreement; while it's wonderful to be on the road, Dorothy certainly was right: there's no place like home!

Welcome home! I can't wait to hear all about it. I love your road trips. We are wanting to do a road trip west next year and have no idea how to do it and what all to see, so I'm anxious to get ideas from your expedition.

Welcome home! Can't wait to hear all about it!
WOW!! I might not be real pleased if I learn you were near me and I didn't know it! Do you feel threatened? : )
Wow -- wish I'd known you were going to be in Washington.....
You were in Tennessee? Looking forward to hearing about your adventures!
Wow that is a lot of traveling. Welcome home.
You missed Michigan ... you could have dropped down from MN to MI to IN to OH and then on home ... I would have gladly put the kettle on! You're right ... there IS no place like home .... Linda
