And Sew On...

I've been catching up on a few projects and planting seeds for a new one. Yes, the seeds have already begun to sprout on the Hexie Garden quilt, you can see two blocks up on the design wall; in the foreground are more tumblers. There will be two tumbler charm quilts in my future; the first flimsy was completed last week, I'm on a roll! I've decided that we need to keep a quilt in each car, just in case of an emergency. AAA suggests that a blanket (quilt) is vitally important not only for keeping warm but also for the park, ballfield, impromptu picnics etc. With all the piecing that's going on around here I've declared the summer of 2015 to be the summer of car quilts... is your automobile quiltless?
Here's a bit more piecing... I'm cranking as fast as I can to catch up with the Summer Sampler Sew Along at Temecula Quilt Co. I've finished all the blocks through week #4 and at this rate should be caught up, and have car quilt #2 ready for quilting in no time at all! How are keeping cool this summer?
Sew on...
