Boys (!?) Will Be Boys

He'd been asked not to throw things in the house, many times. And yet, he continued. He laughed when I scolded him. His aim was accurate, he informed me; and besides, Hannes liked to play fetch! The Christmas tree was taken down and boxed back up for another year. The sofa table reclaimed it's rightful spot and the objets d'art were carefully placed back on top. One precious little figurine had only been there a matter of hours before it was swept off, sent crashing to the floor by way of a "flying" stuffed animal. His aim wasn't accurate this time, but it only takes one time. A quick check of the Internet for a replacement item yielded an shockingly expensive reality check. He won't be throwing things in the house anymore.
