Prayer vs. Talk

There's much going on in my life right now; without a doubt there's much going on in yours too. I am thankful to God for all the many blessings that are bestowed upon me every day; but, I am guilty of not being as disciplined in prayer as I might be. I need to stop talking (as much) and start praying (more). I am even more grateful to have a heavenly Father who knows this about me and loves me anyway.

On Gossip...

This isn't original. I heard it a few weeks ago on the radio, it was an ad for a local church. It has stayed with me and thought it worth passing on... it is three questions to ask yourself before repeating what might be gossip:

1. Is it true?
2. Are there value in your words?
3. Is it kind?

The advice contained in the ad, was, if you couldn't answer "yes" to all three questions then the topic should be forever forgotten.

A simple, important, lesson.
