We went plant shopping this week, the destination: a nursery south of the Capital City. Naturally, we were
required to stop by our precious grandson's home beforehand for a quick hug. Our daughter suggested that we take her van (it's easier with Mason's car seat installed) so, we hitched a ride with her and off we went! It's a good thing she had plenty of space, we completely filled it! We were headed back home again in the early afternoon, having transferred all of the plants and flowers to our car. Little did we know at the time, but we weren't the only ones who hitched a ride back from the nursery. There was a little lizard who came along with us to the Capital City and decided to take up residence in her spacious van. My daughter didn't think it was funny at all when I asked her if her gecko passenger spoke with a British accent! (At last report he's been set free to roam the outdoors, I know she's relieved!) I've been busy the last day and a half planting up all the pots and containers on our porches and patio. I hoisted a huge bag of potting soil into the wheelbarrow and managed to pull something out of whack in my lower back. Lovely, now there's a painful hitch in my giddy-up; I'm walking all bent-over like a little old lady. Ouch! I should've known better than to lift anything heavier than fabric and my rotary cutter. Live and learn...

Life is Good!
