They are fabric, and made to fit a black and white "Compostion Book" (the type without a spiral binding).Naturally, I needed to spiff mine up a bit.
It had to be pieced from leftover blocks...
A little bit of personalized embroidery here, a few wooden beads there...
Oh, and it needed to be quilted... of course!
I think it will work.
One down... a few to go!

What a great idea - I would never have thought of material - a lot easier to use than paper.
