Last 'Stitch' Effort

Yesterday saw the final moments of creating gifts, those I had yet to complete and wrap for Christmas. This morning the family has gathered under our roof, they are still sleeping; and I have shifted into another mode. The sewing machine has been stilled until after Monday. I personalized a fleece blanket for my grand-dogger and monogrammed a set of towels for my husband's bathroom in his shop. He has a wood-working shop in the basment, naturally Mrs. Goodneedle felt no ordinary towels would do down there; these were created especially for him. I think he'll be pleased. Now, kitchen duties beckon; I have a crowd to feed...

No doubt the embroidery will aid in removing the most stubborn of grease stained hands.

Kyle, we both know that God created paper towels for grease-stained hands!

"grand-dogger"... love it.

Without the photo, I would have expressed concern over the monogrammed towels for the workshop. I mean, that's what pants are for, right?

But I do believe you've pulled off the impossible: Monogrammed towels that are actually manly.

Prior to this day in history, the phrase "manly monogrammed towels" was an oximoron.

It is an oximoron no longer...

Life is good.

P.S. Sorry I missed getting down there. Bit of a like overhaul going on up here. Pencil me in for next year....

Jim- one more spelling correction: oximoron=oxymoron. Now this situation is begging for some serious sister-teasing-bro action, but I will spare you :)

Bill and I wish we could have been there, too.
What a wonderful feeling it must be to be able to make lovely Christmas gifts like those towels yourself.
