One Hundred and Counting

This is my one hundredth post; it seems like I just arrived here.

Kyle pulled me in; to this, the blogging world. He kept telling me it was something I needed to do. I came reluctantly in the beginning, testing the water with my big toe first; then stayed less-than-ankle-deep for awhile. Now I’m fully in the deep end… it seems that I never do anything halfway!

This past week I misplaced something. It has dominated my every thought for days on end. I have searched high and low; in every drawer on every shelf. I’ve looked inside and outside to no avail. I simply cannot remember where I put it and I have come up with some pretty inventive scenarios as to where it could be after having “wandered off”… as it turns out, I have purchased a replacement item and now I’m sure it will turn up! (Part of my plan!) The wrinkle in this is that the replacement item is a costly one and I need for the original to show up before I remove the r.i. from it’s packaging; rendering it non-returnable. I’ll keep you posted. I can be crafty in my planning but I’m not usually that lucky, we’ll see…

Quiltkeemosabe suggested I send up a little prayer to “bring it to the top”… will you join me in this? Time is of the essence… so, if you don’t mind, could you do that right now?

And, in honor of my 100th post please let me know what you think. Does any of this make a difference in your day? Does it provoke thought? Does it renew hope/ promote happiness/stir your spirit? You all have done that for me, thanks for all your support and comments since my first post earlier this summer; those of you who comment publicly and those of you who read but prefer to remain anonymous. Y’all remind me everyday…

Life is Good!

I do enjoy reading your posts and FYI, my friend Kathy does too. I didn't know she was reading it until she mentioned it the other day. So who knows how many other people may be reading it but not commenting? A person may never know how many lives they have touched. Guess it's time to go watch IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE! That movie says it all.

It's a part of my daily routine. I like to read it first thing to ensure that my day gets off to a good start...

I certainly hope my dog does not turn up missing during this waiting period...

I look forward to your postings every morning, and if you miss a day, I feel like we haven't "talked". Your postings make me feel like we're close by and quite often give me thoughts to ponder. I'm quite envious of your gift of the written word, as I don't think I've really gotten my big toe wet yet. Perhaps that will be my New Year's resolution.

I've offered up a prayer for your lost item....hopefully you'll find it before long, and before you remove the new one from its packaging.

Seems that everyone reads your blog first thing in the morning. Good thing you get up so much earlier than most of us so you can get your blog posted in time for us to read it first thing in the morning! This would never work if you slept till noon!!!!!

I enjoy reading your posts and I am happy you are here. It is interesting to read your thought provoking posts, and to see the pretty things that you are working on.
But the most important person you are blogging for, should be YOU. I find that blogs help me vent my frustration, help me understand myself, help me express myself, and get support from fellow bloggers.
The fact that other bloggers might find my posts in any interesting, entertaining, useful is just icing on the cake.
