Feeding Creativity
Yesterday I wrote about quilting friends that I connected with at Mid-Atlantic. I have some special, long-time, quilting friends in my life who have recently had birthdays. An art binder, with quad paper, was exactly what they needed to sketch to their hearts' content and to feed their creativity. I found this pattern on Terry Atkinson's blog, it was easy to follow and they turned out perfectly. I found the Crayola twistable colored pencils in a big box office supply store. Remember, when you were a kid, and you didn't get anything fun to play with on your birthday how disappointing that was? Happy birthday, my friends, go ahead and let your inner child(ren) out to play!

I have always loved graph paper...that may have been why I studied engineering! And now its a great way to doodle new blocks. Great Gift Idea!
That is a great gift! I love the cool fabrics you used too.
ooooh!!!
(did I mention my birthday is in September?....) ;-)
I think I'll hop over there and check out that pattern
Where did you find the graph paper pad in a smaller size? I'm only finding 8.5" x 11". I agree, it's a great way to "doodle" blocks
The Blog link for Terri will not work for me. So what is the address? (And "yes" the Art bag is too cute. But the picture doesn't do it justice!
You are so talented you make me jealous! Those books are great! I am sure the recepiants are very happy....Beautiful work. Bobbin
