Make today count, I am going to try.
Life is Good!
The answer to the travel challenge was, indeed,
Lafayette, Indiana. We actually drove to Chicago but stayed in Lafayette both going up and coming back. My husband is a Purdue grad and now has a Boilermaker quilt in his future. Thanks for playing along.

I am going to try to make today count too! I, too, am making my husband a college theme quilt (NC State). He is out of the house today until late, so I am trying to get the top ready for quilting. I figure I can do the machine quilting in snatches of time when he is out of the house and hopefully surprise him with it for Valentine's Day. It is throw size, so it won't take too long to finish. (I hope!)
I'm a little older than you by a few thousand days - but perfectly content with those days. :) Today was a wonderful stay-at-home rainy day spent puttering in the sewing room and I loved every minute of it. blessings, marlene
Wow... Actually that sounds a lot older than you look and than I want to be... Computing by years is only 54 for me...
I know I was born less than 49 years ago on a Tuesday in November, in the wee hours of the morning, but am not sure I want to know how many days the total is, LOL! I'm just hoping I have many thousands left to enjoy :) Today when my DD got home from work we went out to lunch and then spent a happy 90 minutes picking out fabrics for her quilt. She's a happy girl now!
Happy, happy Birthday!!!
Hope today was another great one and you got to do a lot of what you wanted to do, and just a little of what you had to do!
Born on a Monday - 20,580 days old . . . but then you knew our birthdays were really close together!
Spent the day driving through pouring rain and heavy fog, over Fort Mountain, and on to Murphy/Brasstown, NC . . . challenging, but a good day indeed.
I certainly hope you had a wonderful birthday! Lots of days...each a gift, enjoy! I am so glad you are back posting once in a while, because life is GOOD!!
Gracious, I am 21,801 days old. Good thing it can't tell me how many of those days were wasted!
How totally fun! I'm 14641 days old and I've been 40 for 31 days. That's really cool to know because you know what? That means I've been beautiful in 40 for a whole entire month and I just eat that up! Today counted but I had a focus, something to live by and make the moments count. Simple really. Just agreed with myself that I WOULD NOT hold back the urge to reach out and say a kind thing to someone. I write it out and express it. That made a lot of things count.
