Using the circular templates pictured I have been quilting double clam shells all over my batik stars, and I'm diggin' it! Ferns fill the larger triangles and wavy quilting turns in and out of the border strips. This quilt, formerly referred to as "Bali Dancing", is suggesting a new name to me through the quilting process: "Summer Song"; which do you like?

Bali Dancing. No question.
Or Bali's Summer Song
I like the look of those clams, I see why you were buying all those plexiglass shapes now
I like them both. Love the double clam quilting. You can name this one Summer Song and save Bali Dancing for another quilt.
I like Summer Song. Love the double clam quilting!
Bali Dancing. I am having a love affair with clams. Every time I see a photo of one I want to make the quilt.
Summer Song ... lovely quilting!!
My vote:
Dancing to a Summer Song
I love what I can see of the quilt and the quilting!
No, No! BALI DANCING. She walks, she talks, she wriggles on her belly like a reptile!
I'm thinking "Summer Clam Diggin'" but whatever you name it, it is spectacular!!
Lovely, Mrs. G!
Bali Dancing. I love it!
