How I Spent Last Saturday

Mason loves books and Nana loves to read... it was the perfect day. I think that Lucy Ann enjoyed storytime too. I have a "to do" list that is a mile long at least; however, none of that seems important, and that list fades away, given the chance to spend time with my grandchildren. They will all (three!) be at Nana's house this weekend, I am thankful... and acutely aware of how fast time flies. Hold on to your own treasured moments, keep them close to your heart for safekeeping.

That photo is a keeper, along with the memories. You need to have it framed and keep it close. As you say, Life IS good!

Too precious. Time with the grandchildren trumps time doing anything else.

This photo brought a lump to my throat. Could we have imagined *way back then* that this is where we'd be now? Such a precious picture, one to put in a frame and place in a very special place. :-)

great photo -- what a multi-tasker you are. juggling a baby in one arm and reading to a toddler on the other side.

OMG, I love that picture. I am super jealous of how close (geographically) your precious grandkids are. Thank goodness for web cams!

One of my favorite photos is of my mother with our two boys (ages similar to Mason and Lucy Ann), snuggled in the chair, reading a book . . . different state, different faces, same lovingly powerful impact.

SO glad your priorities are in order!

We have been making memories and holding tight to the moments spent with the little ones in our lives. Over the last days (and nights) a different grandchild has come to spend time with us, do fun things together and sleep here. What a precious time we've had getting to know each child a little better and hear from their hearts the things they hold dear. Our door has been a revolving door through their Thanksgiving break and we plan to do it again during the Christmas break time. We have even planned a 'guy' night with all of the grandsons together here with Papa sometime soon - and the girls and I are dreaming of a 'Girls Night Out' slumber party together. Your little ones are precious - so glad you've had time to cherish them, too.
