Life is Good!

Just When I Thought...
...I was managing to keep my head above water while swimming in a sea of UFO's one came rocketing up to the surface, out of the deep, just like a shark! This one was born in 1997 and it is poised to attack, grab me in it's jaws, and drag me under. The sashing strips are cut and labeled, there are stacks of triangles too, and lots and lots of quarter-yard cuts. That's what I get for cleaning house, I never should have lifted the lid on this bin. Quick, someone throw me a life ring... and a harpoon!

I'm sorry. You posted this at 4 am?? What were you doing cleaning at that hour??? You deserve every UFO you uncover at that hour! Sometimes it is safer NOT to open the storage bin! But it sure looks good and I am confident you will finish it in no time.
I'm going down with you... I recognized some of those fabrics from my stash!
I understand your discovery. First is excitement followed by nausea. And yet we buy more!
What quiltkeemosabe said.
Yo! (I'm from Philly) If you're going to wake up at 4 in the morning, you might as well do something useful. I love pinwheels, and that quilt is on its way to becoming wonderful. Dig away! Uncover treasures! What else would you be doing with your time? Laundry? Dusting?
You can do it! Quick take those stacks of triangles to the sewing machine and sew like a mad woman, finish and be done with! That is how I like to finish mine.....just go, go, go..... If I find one I don't want to touch, I tell myself I have to finish one block today, then I can do whatever else I want. Sometimes I only do the one block, other times, I may do 4 or 5, which means closer to the finish line. :D
4:00 AM? Maybe a donation quilt?
Oh, boxes full of projects are definitely dangerous! Hope you can resist for awhile :)
quiltkeemosabe said it all!!!
4am! Now I thought I had a problem! lol ok, life line thrown, no drowning allowed on my shift! I probably have some of those fabrics too, and I haven't even got the UFO's yet! Keep on keeping on! You can do it!
I am currently assessing, adapting and overcoming in my sewing room and unfortunately there are a LOT of bins I wish I had never opened. Judy C
oooh, I probably have some of those sitting in bins too....I'm afraid to look...
The wise and powerful quiltkeemosabe says it all.
All those storage bins is why I'm afraid to go down the back hall. I don't even want to know what's in there.
Nice fabric. Embroidery Digitising Good job. `
