Simple Truths

The ongoing travelogue is temporarily interrupted by a three minute video clip.
Gee, I know you're disappointed!
Believe me, this was the top three minutes I spent yesterday! It's this Simple Truth that reminds me of a rhyme learned in my childhood:
"Open your heart, open your mind,
look for the best and that's what you'll find."

Inspiration can be found every day and everywhere; the truth is this: the simplest acts of giving are those that can have the most profound consequences.

Life is Good!

Well, now I have to go redo my make up. I'm just a-boo-hooin'.

That is most wonderful.

I agree with Salem Stitcher. Luckily I hadn't put make up on yet. This was so good.

Really beautiful! You never know when an act of kindness will touch someone more than you could ever have realized. Occasionally it happens and when it does, I KNOW it's God working through us. We all need to keep doing nice things for each other and for total strangers. :-)

Awesome, Mrs. G! "Working as unto the Lord" -- that's what that looks like, isn't it!? Thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you so much for bringing this video to us - This so reminds me of my brother-in-law Jody who left us two years ago at the age of 51 - what a joy he was. He made the sunshine brighter and life more joyous by his presence in our lives. I dearly miss him and treasure the memories he left with us for safe keeping. He was one of God's very special children - everyone should have a Johnny or a Jody in their life. Judy C

That is a sweet story! Kindness and caring are definitely motivators. My youngest niece has Down syndrome. She is only 4 but is a firecracker and loves to help!
