Summer's here and the stitchin' is easy. I'm busy preparing for Bless This House appliqué block-of-the-month class on Wednesday evening, these watermelon slices are refreshing to look at, much more appealing than the hot, hot, hot temperatures outside! I couldn't be happier that I chose not to hand applique this time around, it's SEW much easier to keep up the pace with my machine stitched option!
| After months of trying out new stitching techniques Sundance and I decided to tackle a real quilt and abandon the muslin practice sandwich for a while... wish us luck! Life is Good! |

That watermelon block is very fun and fresh looking!
I wish you and Sundance well. I am about to tackle my first real quilt on Gidget. I'm with you!
Love the fabric selection for the melons ~ nice looking quilt "resting" on Sundance, too.
Love the watermelon block....made me wish I had a good, ripe, juicy melon! blessings, marlene
The watermelon's beautiful scallops are scrumptious! And here is my fingers-crossed-I-know-you-can-do-it for your "real" quilt :)
