July's BOM ~ plus the ever-growing "TMX2" |
Pairs turned into groups and before long there were entire rows... arghh! I set to work this morning on the block for tomorrow's "Creative Options" BOM at my LQS. Whoa. Before I knew it I'd already gotten six rows together while piecing other things. This wasn't at all intentional. Okay, I'm no longer blaming Bonnie; now I am thanking her. I've always wanted a charm quilt made from tumblers. What was I keeping those boxes of charms for anyway? TMX2 is now underway; thank you, Bonnie! It didn't take much persuasion, I'm easily coerced when it comes to new projects... sigh.

I'm using the paired HSTs as leaders enders . . . amazing how fast they get done! Happy tumbler-ing . . .
I've wanted to make a tumbler quilt for the longest time and finally ordered the die a couple of days ago - it arrived today! My decision was made independently of Bonnie, but maybe I should just blame her anyway. ha!
Hahahah!! just caught this on my facebook newsfeed! Imagine scrolling down and seeing your name HUGE on the screen! Looking good!!
i have 2 tumbler projects going and fortunately they are both packed away someplace along with my templates so i resisted this L/E challenge..BUT a very kind, generous quilter gifted me with yet another box of fabric, this time all kinds, not just civil war so i too am covered for new projects...LOL
I've been resisting this since I already have a tumblers quilt but, after seeing yours I'm thinking I should crank a bunch of scraps thru the GoCutter and make a tumbler quilt for Project Linus.
I'm not doing the L/E challenge, but I still blame Bonnie for things--like the closet full of thrift store shirts in my sewing room. : )
Your tumblers are really moving quickly!
