The Lenten walk begins again.
A look back to the beginning,
a glimpse forward to redemption.
This becomes more and more real every year.

Ash Wednesday! This year, I have given up coffee.
I used to give up being impatient with the kids. Really difficult! Now that they’re grown, I’ve given up yelling at bad drivers. Also really difficult.
