The outer border is an adorable newspaper print in a dog theme.

There are 9 dogs illustrated, all belonging to my mother-in-law throughout her lifetime.

Detail of quilting motif, there are 735 doggie bones in assorted sizes.I spent last evening designing an embroidered presentation label complete with paw prints and, of course, a doggie bone! I will include a photo of that after stitching it out.
