Football? Sewing? No Contest!

How are you spending Super Bowl Sunday?

It looks like Mason is speaking on behalf
of the boys in the family, it's all football.
I, for one, am planning a day long sew-a-thon!
(My husband, a Green Bay fan, will never miss me!)

...and, because my grandchildren get equal blog time,
here's Little Miss Happy expressing her delight upon
learning that Nana can sew all day uninterrupted!

My feelings, exactly!
Life is Good!

Mason: 2 1/2 years ~ Lucy Ann: 4 mos.

Have fun sewing Debbie, before I can sew, I have to try and scrape off the ice that formed from the T-storms (complete with thunder & lightning) that came through here last night [sigh].
Life is cold, snowy, icy and Good here in NH.

Enjoy your all-day sew-a-thon! I think we should all have "happy" shirts for sew days just like Miss L!

If it were just a simple choice like football vs sewing/quilting, then sewing would definitely win out. But we'll be at DD's for the Super Bowl ... and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Not for the football, mind you ... for the grands!!!!

We don't do football, and hubby is having surgery tomorrow, so he will be staying close to the toilet all day long, and me......well I will be sewing, sewing, and more sewing. All day long!!!! Got some catchin up to do!

Good for you - I spent all day yesterday sewing (check tomorrow's blog post) so today I've been doing the household stuff (our neighbor has a Super Bowl gathering so we'll head over there late this afternoon). Do I care about football - no. Would I rather stay home and play with fabric - yes. (It's okay, I got my "fix" yesterday . . . )

I spent it cooking for said football fans, ate too much, then sat in a chair like a zombie waiting for someone to say, "it's time for bed!"

Those are quite possibly the two cutest children I've ever seen! I bet they are wondering when Nana and PawPaw are coming to visit.
