Top Row

This is the top row of that infamous BOM, "Hop To It", set together with the insertion of piping. I am happy with the way the piping reins in the appliqué and provides some block delineation. I sewed all day on Saturday to get to this point. I'm now hand stitching like a mad woman to bring those next three blocks to the finished state and added to this picture. Thanks for sharing my progress.

The piping is a beautiful detail. it really does keep the block from running into that sashing, and makes it pop out.

Just lovely. The fabrics in your BOM are different from mine. So very pretty. I'm attacking mine next week. You have momentum...keep going!

Good call on the piping. I've never tried it in a quilt before, though I have done plenty in clothing over the years. This is a beautiful quilt. Nice work!!

I didn't notice on the newer pictures you had used piping. How clever. It does set the blocks off more. I can't wait to see the rest of the top.
