Cardinal Flower, White Mountain Leucanthemum and Munstead Lavender.
Half of the perennial garden with Easter Lilies from this year, along with Garden Phlox, to be set in. I hope to share many more photos as the summer progresses and this garden takes shape and fills with color.
The other half of the garden, the shadier section. See that Bluebird house on the far right?
Yes, there are now SIX eggs! We'll have a bluebird population explosion!
Mama Bluebird, always keeping vigil.
And proud Papa!
All of this is occurring just outside my Studio windows, no wonder I can't get anything else done; with distractions like these it isn't easy to stay indoors!
Life is Good!

sextuplets! how wonderful! i remember those days when the yard called my name loud and clear...i miss my garden and all my beautiful flowers but happy to use that time to sew now...and enjoy others' efforts!
You need a colorful "barn" quilt for that bluebird house (I saw some online and thought they were great fun). We have bluebirds here and love them.
What a beautiful yard you have. I look forward to seeing the explosion of color as summer progresses. Julie's idea for a barn quilt for the bluebirds house makes me smile. How fun that would be!
6 eggs! Proud of momma blue bird. I am revamping my garden also.
What a Beautiful Post today! Happy Spring !
How exciting to have a Bluebird family right in your yard!!! Aww!!! I don't think any birds are willing to nest near my house, what with 5 cats looking at them through the windows...
So good of you to get your garden all in... Alas I am not a gardener... YET! My mother turned gardener when in her late 60s so maybe in time...
