This one measures 5" X 15", it's a very handy size to begin with, but the 1/8" markings are clear and easy to read. As with all Creative Grids rulers, this one has the non-slip surface on the back which makes rotary cutting very skinny strips a breeze, it does not move at all when cutting; this ruler has earned its space already in my ruler drawer and I have only used it for this one block so far! The so-called intended purpose of this one is for cutting charms; however, check out its versatility here. I sliced the called-for 1 5/8" strips for Liberty fearlessly using this Charming Itty-Bitty Eights. Take a good look at this one the next time you're in the ruler section of your favorite quilt shop, you'll want one too. As quilters we're only as good as our tools, right?😉
Life is Good!
On this, the sixteenth day of November, I am grateful
for all of the brilliant ruler designers who anticipate
our quilting needs and make our work look so good!

I recently bought Deb Tucker's Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler and it is fabulous! I have always avoided these stars because of all the bulk in the center. With this tool, the star lays completely flat!
Love your blog and positive energy!

That is a beauty of a block! I have heard of Deb's ruler and it has all been good. I've never tried a LeMoyne Star. Maybe one day. Your block makes me want to give it a try.
That is an Itty Bitty ruler I don't have yet. I think I need to locate one. : )
Love! The block. I have several Creative Grids rulers and the more I use them, the more I love them. I've been doing a lot of teeny tiny piecing and the 2.5" x 6.5" has become my all time favorite.
That is a great looking star! The 5x15 ruler is a really nice size. I think the one I use most often is my 6x12, but that extra 3" would be nice.
I, too, am a Creative Grids fan. I need to check on that Lemoyne Star ruler - that block has been one of my "not so favorites" with all those points in the middle.
i have the 6" square and have to say it has been indispensable with the 365 and all those little blocks....
